*+:｡.｡➷ - - - ↳ Welcome to the voice auditions for Taking Flight! *+:｡.｡➳┆ 0.1 - What is Taking Flight? Taking Flight is a story about two young birds. Although they reside in rival tribes, even the barrier that blocks them won't stop them from bringing their homelands together and uniting them once more. Essentially, Taking Flight (or TaF) is an animated series that Kiwi and I will be posting on Scratch! *+:｡.｡➳┆ 0.2 - How will it be animated? TaF's episodes will be made as a joint collaboration between @-bobabudgie- and @StormiiKat. Each episode will be animated by the two of them together, but we need you to voice the characters and bring them to life! *+:｡.｡➳┆ 0.3 - How do I audition? In order to audition, please remix the project and record the example lines found in the description(s) of the character(s) you'd like to voice. You may add up to three different recordings of each lines. When you're done, all you need to do is share the project - no need to post a link here, we can see it! *+:｡.｡➳┆ 0.4 - Auditioning Rules - please don't try to guilt-trip us, like "oh, my voice is so ugly, i'll never get the part!" things like "i fell in love with this character" don't count :) - if you don't get the part, you don't get the part, simple as that. don't try to "reason" with us about it. - if you don't follow the lines included, we will not consider your audition! adding extra lines you think might fit with the character is alright, though. - when recording, please try to be in a quiet area with no background noise so that we can hear your voice. things like fans, dishwashers, etc. are alright, but please make sure you have a way to not have the noise for actual lines if you are chosen to voice a character! - when you make your audition project, please add a word related to rainforests in your description. this can be anything from "tree", to "rain", and animals like "monkey" or "toucan". this is a bit of a codeword. - in order to check for activity, if you are chosen to voice a character, you must confirm that you are available to voice the character when we post the results. if you do not confirm within 7 days of the project being posted, you will not get the part and it will be given to a backup. - if we suggest that you audition for a different part, it's not because we don't like your voice! this is because we think your voice might be a great fit for a different character. - you do /not/ get any say in how the character you voice acts. this is completely up to use, Kiwi and Stormii. *+:｡.｡➳┆ 0.5 - Conclusion Again, if you would like to audition please record the lines given for the character you're auditioning for.
