sketchy painting part 2!!!! this is evelyn hugo from the book of the same name, which is actually one of the best books I’ve ever read (for older high schoolers, though!!!) the depiction of celebrity life and the conflicts that come with it are so powerful, and I was really blown away by how well-crafted the characters and story were. Her iconic dress was so so so fun to paintttt- I know I have a lot of work to do in learning techniques and color theory, but I really loved working on this and am pretty proud of the finished product! The song is the lucky one by Taylor swift, which is absolutely perfect for the character of Evelyn, and just amazing in general :) that’s also where the project name comes from
