I'm not explaining Jibanyan. I love Yo-Kai Watch, the franchise needs love, He'd be fun to play and it would get the franchise into stardom like it was with the 3DS. Sonic NEEDS a second rep. Shadow would be an echo to a fighter that isn't really fleshed out, Eggman would only work as a clunky Bowser Jr., whose moveset should remain unique to him. Maybe in a reboot Eggman would work, but for now no. Tails may be Sonic's player 2, but Knuckles has so much more personality and stuff to draw a moveset from, so I'd like him in. I love Waluigi. His SSF2 moveset is practically my explanation. Zoroark is my favourite Pokemon and he'd be the best pick for a Gen 5 rep. He shows up a ton in Pokemon media too, like having his own movie and cool regional variant which could play into the moveset. I personally want Dixie to be in a Duo with Diddy Kong, and they play like their games. Like swappable Ice Climbers with minor differences excluding the major change of grabs (Dixie's hair grabs) and recoveries... I wouldn't mind Paper Mario, but I'd rather Paper Mario stay dead in the ground than satiating TTYD fans. I don't want Skull Kid since i feel he's: A) Too obscure B) Wouldn't play well (Sora is a good floaty fighter, Skull Kid maybe not so much) C) I'd rather expand on the rest of the Zelda cast. Putting Skull Kid or Impa in would feel wrong since it would mean another N64 Zelda rep and potentially a Sheik clone. I'd rather see Tingle (Who has a ton of spinoffs and is popular in Japan) or Ganon from a LTTP. The series' main villain isn't playable. Ganon. Like y'all want Ridley and K. Rool and we don't even have Ganon. As fun as Geno would be, and I probably would buy him, I don't want him. He is far too obscure. There's obscure like Jibanyan and possibly Dixie Kong, and then there is Geno. Geno appeared in one game as a side character, and has only had one other cameo outside of smash. All that for a Square Enix character? If Mario RPG got a remake then maybe, but that is unfortunately not the case. Other Mario / Pseudo Mario characters that would make more sense than Geno: Toad, Toadette, Waluigi, Dixie Kong, Cranky Kong Birdo, Kamek, Shy Guy, Fawful, Petey Piranha and Paper Mario. Even the Koopa Troopa would work in Smash. Just have a Paratroopa recovery and have the Spiny shell as the final smash or something, easy peasy. If Piranha Plant works, Koopa will definitely work.
Kind of relative to Smash Bros. Gold. I say kind of because these picks I have very clearly wanted to include, but I can't confirm some of these due to spriting issues or needing other characters to get it to seem reasonable, E.G. You need Pikachu to have Zoroark!
