Please excuse the horrible, sketchy, messy animation... :/ ~~~THE APHLINX~~~ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Aphlinx is a cross between a lizard, a cat and a bird. It comes in many fantastic colours with different patterns. This one, Linxa, is a plain purple with a yellow beak. I've seen a white one with bright pink polka dots and a bright green beak! They have cat paws so they sheath and unsheath their claws when needed. Their wing feathers transform into razor-sharp blades to attack. They are omnivores, so they have retractable teeth. They are the size of an adult falcon. Some special ones are also shapeshifters, and can Shift into any animal. It all started when a scientist {I don't know exactly who} decided to join the DNA with a bird, a lizard and a cat. The eggs were abandoned in a pond, as the eggs were brightly coloured, but the eggs happened to hatch in water and the babies can breath in water. They repopulated across the world {by flying, of course!} and now they live across the world.
