Moses was close behind, his voice filled with laughter. "I'm going to get you, Gli!" Gli sped up. "Sure you will!" Moses watched as Gli leaped onto a huge rock. There was no way he could climb that! "Cheater!" Moses called. "Nuh-uh!" Gli shook her head smiling. "You just need pratice!" Moses perked his ears, his eyes glinting. "Lets go to the CITY and pratice!" he called. "The city?" Gli's ears went down and her eyes went dark. "You aren't afraid of a few HUMANS, are you?" Gli stood high. "N-no," "Then lets GO!" "Fine!" The wolves made their way to a building, with old, rusty stairs. "You said come here to PRACTICE! Not explore!" Gli scolded Moses. "C'mon! It'll be fun!" Moses climbed the old stairs. They creaked, but held is weight. "Come on, slowpoke," Gli slowly followed him. Once they were at the top, Moses hopped around playfully. "Let's play something... There's lots of room.. How about tag?" Gli almost screeched. "NO! We'd fall!" "Ugh, you're just scared," "No!" "Then play," "Fine," Moses jumped. "YAY! I'm It!" Gli jogged around, Moses pattering quickly behind her. "Imma get you!" Gli stood close to the edge. Moses we coming closer. "WATCH OU-" she never finished her sentence. Moses barged into her. "You're It!" That's when he realized Gli was falling. His eyes grew huge as he watched. Moses slightly grinned. "That's for cheating!" He was joking, but he then felt cold dread tickle his spine. Gli was going to die. Moses turned tail and ran, running home. Gli hit the ground with a sickening "THUD.."... Moses arrived home. "Hello, Moses," his father smiled. "Where's Gli?" Moses's eyes grew with dread. "S-She... Drowned in the river! Yes! I tried to save her!" For the next few days, the family cried in grief. But.. A month after Gli died, Moses heard a familiar voice. "Gli..?" he ask. The small wolf felt air brush his ear, and heard the words, "I was falling. And you turned away.."
