I love his overall color palette. I started drawing with the head -- and decided to make the antennae more soft-looking. While sketching out the wings on paper, I made a little mistake but its fine :) after that it was smooth sailing and then transferred it onto scratch to start last minute tweaks and begin the lineart and coloring. Doing fullbodies is exhausting, but the next one is a full body... ;-; I guess I'll just do headshots. I see the appeal now Murpha: Yay! The last of the weird hivewing wings! Finally, less work for me -w- One of the antennae is drooping and he look pretty scared in the original? So he has a scroll (not shown) and he's reading it. its his comfort scroll <3 I love the smooth transition from his antennae to his spine it's so satisfying in an indescribable way
