~~\\ Heronstar //~~ Heronstar is the wise and thoughtful leader of Riverclan. Though he does have a higher rank than all the over cats, he doesn't hold it over their heads. He often goes on patrols and goes hunting with his mate, Paleshell. Heronstar is very calm and logical, and garceful under pressure. Though sometimes he gets carried away overthinking it and has an internal panic-attack. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Heronkit was born in Riverclan to his mother, Streamflower, and his father, Salmontail. Along with his siblings, Bloomkit, Minnowkit, and Dawnkit. From a young age, it was clear he would be a great warrior. But when he became an apprentice, he struggled to keep up. Heronpaw overloaded himself with patrols in the morning, and when it came training time, he was exhausted. His mentor, Pebbletail, knew he had potential, she just wasn't sure how to unlock it. But, she figured it out. Heronpaw learned quickly and became a warrior half a moon early. Heronpaw got Heronwing as his warrior name, and became deputy 4 moons after he became a warrior. Some cats were skeptical about how such an un-experienced warrior could succeed Thunderstorm, the former deputy, who had retired to the elders den. But, Heronwing soon proved himself worthy of being leader, and after Reedstar, the Riverclan leader before Heronstar, lost his last life a couple moons later. So Heronwing went to the moonpool to receive his 9 lives and his leader name. And ever since, Riverclan has prospered and lived peacefully under the wise Heronstar, and all the cats that ever doubted him ate their words and became his most loyal supporters.
