Friends: Lando, Garrett, Trixie, Tonya, Delta, Sina, Raphael, George, Brooke, Grace, and Jackie. Basis: ALCo FEF-2 Union Pacific No. 825. Died after being scrapped in 1963, a GP30 replaced her. Owner: Union Pacific Railroad Company Model: ALCo 4-8-4 Built As: UP 825 (4-8-4) Serial Number: 69166 Order No: Unidentified Frame Number: Unidentified Built: 9/1939 Notes: Schenectady, 9/1939, class FEF-2 Other locos with this serial: UP 825(4-8-4) Story of this lass: This 4-8-4 Northern type steam locomotive was built by Alco-Schenectady in September of 1939. Specs - serial #69170, class FEF-2, massive 77" drivers, impressive 300 psi boiler pressure, 24.5x32" cylinders, engine weight of 465,000 lb, tractive effort of 63,611 lb. UP 823, 825 and 832 were sold to Luria Brothers and Company of Pueblo, Colorado, in May 1963; moved for scrap to Columbia-Geneva Steel Corporation, Provo, Utah.
