No animation this time, just some cool art. It's hard to believe that BFFFW has been around for two entire years...especially considering that all episodes except for one came out in 2020. Oops. (By the way, just to put into perspective how long it's been since the last episode, this art contains some new assets made for me by SuperAnimator358. Before he got blocked. Yeah.) If I'm being honest, I never expected to see such great success from this show. Let's travel back to when it all started: In September of 2019, I formed the concept of BFFFW, which was also when I originally shared the sneak peek of Episode 1a. I unshared it shortly after, not wanting to put myself through what I did with my first show, Contest for the Diamond, but in April of the next year I reconsidered my decision and shared it once again, 2 days before I would eventually release the first episode. And the rest is history. To elaborate, Contest for the Diamond was the show that I began in 2017, which was actually a few months before the "golden era" that so many SOSC members reminisce about today. However, some time later in mid-2018, I cancelled it, all because of a little demotivation. The fans of CFTD were not happy one bit, and I felt bad about it, but at the same time I felt "free". This is because I didn't know what taking a break was, and I thought my show had to stick to a tight schedule, just like BFDI season 1 (one of my main inspirations for BFFFW, alongside OFA). I was stressing myself out because of it. Thankfully, I've learned from the mistake I made, and I'm grateful that I did. I admit, there have been times where I wanted to cancel BFFFW, to put it all to an untimely end. But I would always remember what had happened all those years ago, and I've made it clear several times that BFFFW will never be cancelled. It's not over until it's over, like they say. I've adopted a new mentality towards this type of project, and I will make sure that BFFFW will live on until the very last episode. (For those of you wondering about Mini BFFFW though, yeeeeah that's not coming back. It was kinda dead on arrival anyways. Really sorry.) The next episode, 11b, is on its way, and it's all because I kept on going. If it weren't for everyone's support and if BFFFW had never done as well as it did, it would be long gone. So thank you. Thank you for persuading me to cling onto my silly little show for all this time, and thank you for helping me shape Battle for Fries from Wendy's into something truly special. - DatCat11
