Instructions

!!NOTE - PLEASE do not remix unless your are a developer or part of the MP02 Team. After about 4 Days of work, Version 0.7.7 BETA is finally complete. Controls: Arrow Keys - Move Z - Jump X - Shoot Down Arrow - Crouch Sliding - While Running Press the Down Arrow Key to Slide Press / x2(first time) for Debug Mode (This is really only for testing, though you can use it to find secrets* and to see how the game works) *Once any are added Updates: - Ver 0.0.7.7 - Used new Engine - Room assets have been completely changed - New scripts for Doors, and Spider Walls(or whatever they're called) - Sliding - New Map layout(unfinished) - New Parallax backdrop - And that's about it :) Thank you for waiting this long! - Besides that, I think we should add directional shooting again, and I will add the melee counter another time. - Ver 0.0.7.5 - Changed room layouts (ish) - Fix code (Kind of :P) - Add new jump code (It works better then the one we were using, kind of.) - Said "kind of" 3 times - Wow, this game is getting real far! Just get to bosses, more enemies, items, map layout... uh, nevermind - Sorry I not do much, it's like 8:30pm when I'm writing this XD -Ver 0.0.7.3 -Fixed a bit the animations -Fixed the map -Ver 0.0.7.2 -In progress of changing samus sprites (Need help on some animation code, it is buggy :P Yey, I'm looking at you @DramaticMarquinhosvi) -Changed hub -Fixed intro sequence. -Ver 0.0.7.1 -Inspired by the new metroid dread game, I have changed all sprites and sound-effects! But we can always change it back though :) Vote in the comments! -Also I didn't finish my goal, the thing above, I just have redone Samus', and I feel that we need to change them, I'm just giving a feel on what sprites I want. And I saw how small the screen was and in how in other metroid games the screen and zoomed out much more, so I made samus smaller too, but that just means I will redo all of the rooms :P But I'll do it, so no one else has to worry about it :) I just wanted to share this in advance because I need help making samus jump lower, because since I made her smaller, her jump is WAY to high, so please help with that :) and agin I'll do everything else. THX. -Also be aware I did change code and this is pretty glitchy and weird :P -Ver 0.0.7.0 -Up and down sprites are added ;) -New code in Metroid, but it's REALLY glitchy :P So while playing you will not see this action. -New Assists. -Sorry, just don't know what to add next :P -Ver 0.0.6.6 -You can now equip missiles,Super Missiles and Power Bombs -Missile door -A map system -I've probably out-did myself for this update -DramaticMarquinhosvi -Also @superkirbyjr ,i plan on adding down and up doors but samus looking up and down sprites are missing so i can't add them -Ver 0.0.6.3 -Now you can place 3 bombs at once -Now you can bomb jump -Now the Metroid don't go through walls -I was doing the Metroid moving up and down code but it didn't activate the go down or up,it didn't attack,so it's scrapped for now,in a future update i will make it -Ver 0.0.6.2 -I've FINALLY made it easier to use variable to write where the doors X and Y is! SO we can move the doors around with code easily now! -New room designs -New Assets -Ver 0.0.6.1 -Fixed a bit the flickering when clicking the flag -Added charge beam code -Improved loading time -Made when you click the flag less flickery -Fixed lag when you go back to room 01 if you get there from room 02 -Ver 0.0.6.0 -More new assets -New Walking animation -What needs to be worked on: Door code and how it needs to be easier to navigate around the room with the Scroll X and Y variables. Make the walking Animation look like the animation from Metroid prime. (5/1/22) - As you know, the Description if the Instructions is limited to a certain amount of characters. So some the update patch notes have been deleted, if you would like to see them, I would recommend going to a older update.
