(This is kinda a big one. Just read to find out what happens. ;D) Context: It was a few days after Kyle raced Eddie. Everyone and every engine was surprised that Eddie lost to Kyle. But, Eddie's long time shed mate and the team leader, Murasaki, had decided to race Kyle herself. One night, Murasaki was doing a practice run when she saw a light behind her. She decided to show to let the engine catch up. *back on the rocks by Mega Nrg Man cues* "A LNER tank engine? That's rare to see around here." Murasaki said to herself and speeds up. "You wanna play? Fine by me" The tank engine said and speeds up too. The two get into a race and Murasaki was surprised by the tank engine's technique. The screen than zooms in to the face of the black tank engine to reveal it's Zack. The screen than cuts to Knapford Station yard where Kyle was zoned out (as usual of him). Then, Jock stops beside him and snaps Kyle out of it. "Huh?" Kyle said snapping back to reality. "Hey Kyle, listen there's a new racer about and it's looking for you!" Jock told to Kyle. Kyle didn't really care though, because he didn't really want to race right now. "You gotta show him who's boss!" Jock stated. Kyle decided to think on it as he left to take his next train. Later that day, Jock was going to platform 2 to take some coaches away when he saw a black tank engine with the letters "L.N.E.R" on it. Jock went to the front of the train to see who it was. Jack, the leader of the Midnight Blurs, was sitting there waiting for someone to take his coaches away. He saw Jock pull up beside him and decided to chat with him. "Hey, mind taking my coaches to the coach shed?" Jack asked waiting for a response. Jock realized he was being asked a question. "Oh uhh sure thing!" Jock said. "Hey, you wouldn't happen to know the silver pannier from last night's race, do you?" Jack asked curiously. "Oh yeah! I'm actually friends with him, so I'm kind of famous for it." Jock said boastfully. "Alright cool, tell him to meet me here tonight at 10 pm. I'll be waiting." Jack told Jock, who wasn't listening until Jock realized what Jack said. "Wait what?" Jock asked as Jack left the platform and puffed away. "Wait...did Kyle get challenged by that engine?!" Jock asked himself panicky. Kyle pulled to the platform and saw that Jock was panicking. "Hey Jock, you ok?" Kyle asked concerned. "Oh..oh Kyle, you have to race a black tank engine tonight! If you don't, the engine will count it as his victory!" Jock told Kyle. Kyle didn't say anything, but understood the situation. "Alright, I'll race him." Kyle said. Jock's face lit up and gets all excited. *Tonight's race* Jack was idling, waiting for Kyle to show up. Their was a huge crowd, bigger than the crowd from the last race. Some lights appeared, Murasaki and Eddie pull up and stopped at platform 3. Jack watched as the two blue engines stop a empty platform away from him. Then, another light appeared, this time it was Kyle as he stopped at platform 2. "So, you're the pannier I heard about. My name is Jack. You are?" Jack introduced and asked Kyle. "Kyle.." Kyle said to Jack. "I'll remember that name. Let's start this race!" Jack told everyone and all other engines. Even, Sir Tophem Hatt was watching. *racing scene starts here* The two engines get ready as the station master holds a flag. "Eddie, couple up quick." Murasaki told Eddie. Eddie was confused, but did it away. "Let's begin!" the station master exclaimed. *That's All Right by Dr. Money cues* "Three. Two. One. GO!!" As soon as the station master the two engines went with Murasaki and Eddie following behind the two. The race begins and Jack was in front, Kyle following and Jack and Murasaki following behind with Eddie. Even though the race started, it was already getting intense. "The pannier is gonna make a move." Murasaki said to Eddie. "How is he?" Eddie asked confused. Kyle soon then went outside. "Are you serious the outside?!" Jack said alarmed. Kyle just kept focused. "Don't make fun of me!!" Jack said as sped up. "He's a fast lner tank engine for sure." Murasaki claimed. Eddie was watching every movement. At the next corner, Kyle went outside again. "I'm keeping the inside so much that it's affecting my line." Jack said to himself getting stressed. The engines reached the next corner. "Yes, the inside is mine!" Jack said as he went outside. Kyle then made his move and went inside. Jack gasped. "Where'd he go?! It can't be...." Jack said as he looked left. Kyle was starting to pass Jack. Jack then tried to boosted back in front. But then felt his wheels off the rails. Jack then went off the rails and blocked the line where Murasaki and Eddie were coming down. Murasaki then switched lines to the middle line and avoided a derailed Jack. "Man, this is gonna take a while to clean up.." Jack sighed in disappointment. The screen goes black as it ends.
