For any of you who proceed to view this animatic, I hope that you enjoy it. ————————————————————————— That was one fun car ride. I made all of the art in this animatic within seven hours in a car with my younger brother and mom adjacent to me while making our way to our hotel/rental house in Florida. As I’m writing this me and the other six people I’m on this trip with are taking a lazy day after spending thirteen hours out of the house at LegoLand. Tomorrow we’ll be heading to Universal, so I made sure to code this before then. If the timing is off, try reloading your page. If that doesn’t work then let the project play through once before viewing it a second time. If that still, doesn’t work, please tell me because I’m doing this on a mobile device so I can’t tell if the timing is right or not. ————————————————————————— As I mentioned in the warning, this is based off of a book I’m writing called Diverged. I’ve made many MAP parts and animatics about this story in the past, however this is certainly one of my favorites. Our starring duo consists of Ametrine (The shorter one, four horns on right side of head and wears a golden ring earring) and Atlas (Freakishly tall white one with black markings who Ametrine stands on his toes for in multiple frames but you just can’t see it). After a certain ceremony goes wrong, Atlas finds himself with a severe injury which almost causes him to lose his hand. He runs away from the chaos of the ceremony and into the woods, along the edge of the kingdoms’ territories. Luckily, Ametrine ran away from his home, The Secondary Estate, earlier that day and he comes across the injured Atlas. After patching the Fojhi Resra up, even though Ametrine is from Wesk, they decide to see each other again out of curiosity. They continue this cycle for a few months, becoming close friends until Ametrine makes the REALLY bad decision to invite Atlas to his house. Atlas refuses for a while, though Ametrine is able to convince him that no one’ll catch them entering or exiting the estate. Long story short they do get caught (big surprise) and Atlas is sent to a prison underneath the Secondary Estate for trespassing on Wesk territory. Grifter, Ametrine’s ex who mistreated him to the point where he was sent to jail, had also escaped earlier that week. Once again, long story short, Grifter ends up st@bing Atlas who passes away after ble31ng out. In the end Grifter gets himself sh0t and d1es instantly while Atlas enters the good ol’ afterlife known as Paradise. Xisju, goddess of all life and creation says that Atlas needs to live because she foresees him closing the gap between the two opposing kingdoms of Fojhi and Wesk. Atlas is brought back from the d3ad and Ametrine has a mental breakdown because he’s confused beyond imagination. The story ends on a happy yet ominous note, and a sequel is already being planned. And yeah, that’s the main idea, though there’s a lot I left out. Also a war almost starts after years of armistice but if I talked about that and everything else that I left out, this'd be miles long. ————————————————————————— The first scene consists of Ametrine and Atlas chilling inside of an abandoned party hall just having a dandy time. They then go up on the hall's roof where there's a bit of a breeze and they sit there for a bit. The scene cuts to Ametrine with one of his tutors though instead of listening to them, he's thinking about Atlas. He then reads a letter from Atlas which makes his day, he replies to it afterwards. The next section of the animatic is the point in the story in which everything goes out of control, Fojhi soldiers invade Wesk territory and Grifter's on the loose. The animatic ends soon after Atlas d1es. The events of this animatic are vague and are out of order, the best way to understand the story would be to read it or just read my scripting docs.
