backstory: a week after Violet turned 3, she heard something strange in the middle of the night. She had gotten there to find her mother's (Lumina, the goddess of the moons (yes there's more than one moon) body on the floor and her aunt (Lurii, goddess of death) in front of it. (she had killed her sister out of jealousy) After Lurii found out that Violet was there, all she said was "you shouldn't have seen that" and teleported Violet away to Earth, but no one knew why.
a few years later, Lumina's spirit gave Violet her spear in hopes that she would return the favor and defeat her aunt once and for all, and then become the new "queen" of the gods and goddesses. (oh yeah, the queen/king of the gods and goddesses rules the entire planet as well and currently, things aren't going too well there.)
