(Click/tap to zoom) A Light in The Mist was as much as an emotional roller coaster as I heard. Even more so. But this scene hit the HARDEST. (SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!!) Bristlefrost's sacrifice. *sigh* I may have not cried that much when the scene happened, but it did indeed hurt me. I've been really emotionally fragile all day. Heck, I'm even crying right now!!! Graystripe's death hurt me a lot too but Graystripe's still /there/. Bristlefrost is not even a ghost. Even if she was, I'd imagine she's trapped in the dark forest or maybe the living world, out of Rootspring, Tree, or the Sisters' reach. I can't bring myself to read River. Not yet. I just don't feel...ready. I have a theory, but I feel it's just grief holding my heart trying to make me feel hope. Bristlefrost is gone. She died a true warrior's death, saving not just her clan, but all the clans. She deserves a place in StarClan, but she's gone to the murky black water of the Dark Forest. Never to return. But her love lasted all the way to death. <3
Erin Hunter --------------------- "The cold that gripped her seemed at last to let her go. She closed her eyes and in her last moment felt only warmth. Only love."
