UPDATE 2.1: Seems the isCompiled block is no longer accepted in scratch. The TurboWarp options are not currently functioning until I find an alternative. Performance of this version is fine in Scratch. It is the widescreen that added value. UPDATE 2.0: Support for TurboWarp to improve the playing experience: - Better performance - Widescreen (up to 690x360) - No Fencing for unlimited sprite sizing https://turbowarp.org/679935968?size=690x360&offscreen Description:----------------------- Pilot your jetpack through the countryside flying over and around trees, water towers, windmills and other objects. Watch out for airplanes. The objective is to collect red flags as you go. Controls: ------------------------- [Up] - Thrust up and forward [Down] - Trust up and backward [Left] - Rotate to the left [Right] - Rotate to the right [P] -Pause Striking an object, landing with excessive speed (vertical, horizontal or forward/backward) or landing in a pond will result in a crash and loss of life. Thrust burns fuel. Running out of fuel results in a crash. Collect fuel tanks to refill. Collect 10 flags to earn a new life. Tips: --------------------------- - Combine thrust with rotate to move side-to-side. - You can fly backwards however only the most recent objects come back into view. If you overshoot a flag or fuel, if you act quickly by going backwards you can pick it up. - See the flight instruments in the upper left. They include fuel, speedometer, altimeter and variometer (climb/descend velocity). These show the ranges for safe landing. #games #flight #jetpack

Description

Update 2.0 - Widescreen support in TurboWarp Update: 1.1 - Fix bug with tower collision detection. This is the third game utilizing a 3D game template I developed earlier. I created the artwork from miscellaneous items I found online which I re-did manually as vectors and altering them to better suit the look I was going for. Credits------------------- @griffpatch - Insertion sort approach for layering sprites found on his YouTube channel. @HN6 - Sprite for printing numbers
