Ways to help (finacially) 6. PETITION 1. SB184 is a bill in Alabama that bans hormone therapy and puberty blockers for trans minors. It's called the "Alabama Vulnerable Child Compassion and Protection Act (V-CAP)" But it doesn't care about or protect anyone. It says that the gender of a person is decided by their organs/chromosones. It passed the house and senate, will be signed in 1-14 days, and will go active 30 days after being signed. This is a terrible bill, and now is a horrible time for the trans community of Alabama. Agencies like the ACLU and SPLC are helping to fight this bill. If put into place, these students will have to use the bathroom that goes with their AGAB. It also applies to changing rooms and showers.
