Bot Battle was an excellent little game very few people knew about waaaay back in the day. It had its own coding language players used in a text editor to literally program their bot's AI. Each bot had Health and used Ammo and Energy to power 4 chosen items from a big list of weapons, armor, shields, and unique stuff like a random teleport no one used but I got into the top 10 with, all bots were ranked in a never ending tournament. I migrated there with Motorhed, one of the two main creators of DragonSpires (I was the player known as Pain) who eventually took 1st place with his Leaf Eater bot. The game was super fun and growing but the programmer had to move on. Sadly, I was contacted to see if I wanted to take over but it was coded in Python with which I had zero experience so out of fear I declined and shortly afterwards the game went down for good.
