Space built-in 1889 for the York & Red Lion as the roads #3. It hauled the bigger trains on the line. it would be upgraded with an electric headlight in 1916. By 1959 the poor engine was so worn out it was sold for scrap as the railroad started acquiring more diesel's. 3s original box headlight has been preserved and is on display in the depot at york a replica was also made in the 80s and for a special "Wild West" weekend 4 had the replica headlight put on after that was over the replica has been put on storage and hasent been used again
