space Built-in 1950 for the York & Red Lion as their number 6. it was a testbed for how viable diesel would be fr the Y&RL. It served well and worked hard however in 1958 when the Y&RL closed it was sold to the north Mexico stell company where it continued to use it for years repairing and keeping it going the Y&RL in 2020 contacted the company about the locomotive and purchased it the Bridgeton & Rockland offered to repair with there spare parts as such right now it is in Maine being repaired
