This was my first time ever drawing with oil pastels, and I don't do lineless art often which made this quite the adventure. I sat on the floor in my room for about two and a half hours creating this horrid creature. Tbh I do like the way that the overall head (especially the hair and crown) came out. Main problem though, I SOMEHOW got Ranboo's eye colors mixed up. I don't know how, it just happened. I had multiple references open and I've drawn him before but s t i l l . But the swirly purple parts of the ears are interesting I think I'll keep those next time I draw gender man. Excuse my ranting, but I listened to Typical Me for over two hours. And it's still stuck in my head. P R A I S E M E F O R I H A V E T H E S T R E N G T H O F T H E G O D S . I should've watched one of the SMP streams though, that's still on my to-do list. Again, this was my first time ever using oil pastels so if you have any tips and tricks I'd love to hear them for future reference. (Press space or click screen to get different shots of the image.) Supplies used: Shading pencil and oil pastels (forgot the brands lol) Art: @SawaStuff Inspired by: The insane amount of Ranboo art I've seen on Pinterest lately. Character: Ranboo (Dream SMP fanart) My mom asked if he was half human half dragon and all I said was 'it's a Minecraft thing.' I hope that one day, I'll explain the DSMP to her. For now, I will be vague as possible. One last thing, the 'canvas' I used was B I G. And it was drawn in a sketchbook. A REALLY big sketchbook. I should've done a size comparison with my hand or guinea pig. :l
