Yet again, pure boredom. Noriko refers to a 1971 Japanese sedan. History of Noriko: She is once built as a civilian sedan, and then in 1972, sold to the Japanese metropolitan police department. She always wanted to be a police unit. In 1982, she was involved in a chase in a Japanese movie “Kyôdan”. Then in 1987, her beacon was replaced with a “Flying Brick” light bar. In 2002, the police announced the retirement of Nissan Cedric 330s, with the last run by Noriko. In 2004, most Nissan Cedric 330s were retired, most being sold to civilians, museum attempts, or scrapped. 5 of these cars still remain on the police roster including Noriko.
All of the above.
