[all of this is my take on sonic.exe] If you copy my theory for a video on this exact topic, you MUST credit me. So basically I think sonic.exe is actually quite literally a version of sonic who went insane because he found out his world and life was 1's and 0's. So he went insane because of it. (This is by far in my opinion, the best explanation as to what sonic.exe is.) and to explain it better I'll use the quotes from the original game, "Hello, do you want to play with me?" Is talking directly to you, because he wants to have real interactions. "You're too slow, want to try again." Is a call back to Sonic's famous quote, basically he's saying 'you couldn't save tails... But the game is still not over, let's go again'. "So many souls to play with, so little time, wouldn't you agree?". This line says a lot for just a three part sentence, basically it describes how much there was that was nothing, and how he had little time to say goodbye to anyone, and he then asks you if you also think that his punishment is torture as well. Lastly "I AM GOD" the most simple way to put this is he is aware of the world he is in, and the world he wants to be in. Possible counter questions with my answers. If sonic.exe is sonic, why would he oof tails and the others? I have three answers for this. 1.to make you fear him. 2.because he doesn't see them the way he used to (since he is aware he knows it's the player and not tails). 3.He is insane. Why didn't you include the secret text in the original sonic.exe? I'm going off of the story description of the game, not the newer updates, those texts weren't originally part of the game (Toms dream is when those texts appear, or they don't appear at all) and the dream for all we know could be a side effect of playing the game, he is a fan of sonic and to see that piece of huge nightmare fuel take the form of his favorite game, it would definitely give you nightmares too!). If sonic.exe is really sonic, then what does he mean by "ready round two"? The game ends but I'm pretty sure he means "see you when you put back in the disk". If sonic.exe isn't able to interact with our world then how is Kyle (toms friend) oof? His oof was only implied. He may not be offed. (Part of the above question) If Kyle isn't oofed then where is he? Again his future was undecided. He couldn't have had claw marks or bite marks (due to sonic.exe being only able to mentally interact with our world). but I'm pretty sure he either got oofed by insanity or by YKW. Why does sonic.exe/sonic hate humanity? Ever since he became aware all the pain (from everytime he died) came back and for us it was a little irritating whereas with sonic it was torture. Basically the backstory of 50N1C.£X£ in the way I explained it is sonic became aware of the world that he's eternally trapped inside of, and the world that put him there. Any Questions?
