He walked up in front of the class. “Today’s choice for our presentation will be April.” April walked up with shame. She held up her artwork. “This is my dad. I perfected every part on this piece. Unfortunately it was supposed to be something ‘creative’. So I must burn him in the fire, as my punishment.” April sighed and placed her picture in the fire. ‘I hate this method,’ April thought. The bell ringed. A few people stood up and headed for the door. The art teacher, named Monsieur, grabbed the back of their shirts. “You can stay after class with Mrs. April, you three. Everyone turn in your artwork, unless it’s burned. I will be grading them. Violet, put yours on the wall. You may all be dismissed.” Violet placed her illustration on the wall next to more illustrations of Monsieur. All made by her. “Violet has a crush!” Tommy, one of the people who tried to leave, said in a sing-song voice, making the whole class laugh. “Tommy, do you want detention?” “Ooh please do Monsieur, your making my mouth drool just thinking about it!” Monsieur rolled his eyes and pushed tommy away. “That’s a zero, Tommy. Hope your happy.” “Aww man, no negative points? But I was soo annoying Monsieur I think I deserve worse!” He fake cried, running out of class. “See ya later sucker!” The bell ringed for the second time. Everyone rushed out. Monsieur growled and turned to Timmy, Tommy’s brother. “BRING TOMMY BACK NOW.” “What if I don’t?” “I’ll give you an F like him. You don’t want to ruin your straight As do you?” Timmy gasped. “Right away sir I’m sorry sir!” April watched Timmy leave. “Greyson, remember to not leave before dismissed. Follow your sisters footsteps. Violet is the best example and I expect you to be one too.” Greyson left, leaving only April. “April, you have 10 siblings right?” “Yes.” “Be careful. Your siblings can be very sneaky. Can you tell me if you find my pen in one of your siblings rooms?” “Yes?” “Alright. Goodbye.”
