The aliens that lived on the planet are born as globs of goo, and the shapes of the slime depends on the first 'living' creature they see. At least, that's what they thought. Crystal was happy on the planet, always exploring and running around. She loved the purple terrain, but she always wondered what she would take shape as, if anything. See, all of the species got to go to a random planet when they were 10 (in human years), and Crystal was very excited for their 10th birthday. When it came, xe wished to get a good form that fit her, and soon. Soon, a asteroid came over the planet. The asteroid was on its way to Earth, and it was Crystal's transportation. It hopped on, putting on a special helmet. Then, the giant rock crashed to Earth's ground making the young goo fall off. Crystal looked around the strange planet, keeping their helmet on so that they could breathe (the goo can't breathe Earth's air). They started walking into the forest, trying to take it all in, when a black cat, zoomed under its paws. Crystal turned to look at it in surprise, and found that the goo does not only take the shape of the creature, it possesses it. Crystal yelped, noticing that she was now part of the cat. The feline's, or rather their, spots were now purple, and their ears were speckled with spots; as was their underbelly and chest. Crystal's mind was overflowing with the cat's thoughts, and she found that the cat's name was Pluto. Crystal took the name as their own, and accepted the new life, as it was the only thing they /could/ do. Pluto also found that they had a collar that had merged with the helmet, and that they could press the golden star on it to make the helmet go in. Pluto soon realized that nobody on the goo planet knew the truth about their species, and she was scared to go back to their home planet. They couldn't do it anyways, of course, because the asteroid was a one-way trip. Crystal then found a small town and settled down in secret there, soon meeting others of their own kind that had merged with other animals, and she was happy, but also missed its family, on the purple planet. As she learned more about Earth, xe found out about spacecraft. Humans were building them, and they could go into space! Crystal knew that she loved thier Earth life, but the urge to go home burned in her chest. She soon came onto the newest ship as a stowaway, and she was excited to see her old home again. But she then realized that the ship was not heading to her home, but to Pluto. It felt disappointed, and then thought of the life that she had possessed and combined with.
