***READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE PLAYING PLEASE*** Welcome to the second part of the weekly! Now that you've created your characters and setting, it's time to write a story with them. We'll be doing this in the form of a board game. Let's get started! INSTRUCTIONS If you're just starting the second part of the weekly, click the "start" button. You start in the bottom right corner of the board. Roll the die by clicking the button and then click the squares next to you in order to move. You can move left, right, up, and down, but not diagonally. Once you've used up your moves, an activity will appear in the box above the board! There are three types of activities, indicated by the icons in the corners of the squares: Character (person) - activities that will further develop your characters, add new characters, or kill off your already existing characters! Event (star) - activities that will introduce plot twists, weather changes, and more! Technique (pencil) - activities that will encourage you to use literary devices and different types of writing There are no word requirements for the activities, so you can just incorporate them as you see fit before clicking the "finished" button! If you'd like, you can incorporate other events into the story in between activities. PART 3 Continue playing until you've done six activities. The project will give you a notification when you have. At this point, you can either keep playing, or continue your story freely until you reach 1500 words. If at any point you need to stop, but don't want to lose your progress, click the "save" button and copy the first sequence of numbers. Save it somewhere and select "load" when you're ready to continue! Keep in mind that if you comment them here, the phone number filter will turn them into X's, so save them somewhere outside of Scratch. REQUIREMENTS: 2 character bios, 300 words each A setting description, 150 words A final story, 1500 words You must show proof for all parts of this weekly! Comment in the Main Cabin by 11:59 pm UTC on March 30th to earn 4500 points for your cabin.
