Like so many around the world, I've been devastated by what is happening in Ukraine right now. My heart goes out to the people of Ukraine and those impacted and I truly hope we see a quick and peaceful resolution to this crisis. I wanted to find a way to share that I stand in solidarity with you at this terrible time and that there are people around the world who are thinking about you. This project is a product of that. The colors of the heart within the project match up with the colors of the Ukrainian flag. When researching the flag, I came to learn that the colors hold a lot of meaning and symbolism. I found their meaning really beautiful and so I thought I would share it with you: "The colours symbolize blue sky above the yellow field of wheat representing Ukraine and the Ukrainians as they are – freedom-loving, independent, brave, and vibrant." When I think of kindness, I often think of the Scratch Community. I have said this before and it remains true to this day - I am constantly inspired by the Scratch Community and how much love, creativity, and care go into the creation of Scratch projects and interactions with others. The number of projects and comments I have seen that give encouragement, hope, and inspiration to others is beyond amazing.
