Backstory Time!!: Its been 5 years now... Tord blew up the house and we've been having to live in our own apartments for now, Tom in his own, Matt in his, you get it. I was thinking about covering up my leader mark on my cheek so i didn't have to hide my other eye too. Tom was getting worried about me cuz i've been in my 'room' more than usual, and that i haven't been to our base in a while now either. i started to think back to when tord and me made a promise about something when we were younger... (They're 12-13 in flashback)FLAAAAAAASHBAAAAAACK: --__"Don't worry! We could combine our armies into one GIANT one!! We could rule the world together!" Tord said, looking at me, "That's actually a really good idea! so that a way we won't have to fight each other" i said with stars in my eyes "YAY!! LEADER BUDDIES!!" Tord said excitedly, hugging me "Hey Tord" "hm?? what is it claire??" Tord asked, looking at me with curiosity. "I want you to promise me something". "What is it?". "Promise me that you won't forget about me when we're older.." I told tord with slight worry for what the future will have us do. "I promise, Claire.. I won't forget about you, no matter what happens!!" Tord said, looking at me with bravery. It was honestly kinda cute with how brave he was. I hugged him with small tears in my eyes from happiness. "Jeg Elsker Deg, Claire" Tord told me, i looked up at him "What does that mean??" "i-it means I love you" my face turned red, I was speechless. "I-I.. love y-you too, T-Tord" i managed to get out before collapsing into tords arms, tears rolling down my face. "Claire? Whats wrong?!!" Tord asked, scared. No response "T-TOM!! THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH CLAIRE!!!"...__-- (End of flashback) I remember it all.. i was laying down on my bed when i heard a knock on my door "Sis, are you okay?" it was tom. "you can come in brother" i told him in a monotone voice. The door opened to reveal a tired and worried brother of mine, and he didn't have his hoodie on, which was surprising. "Sis, you've been in your place for a week now without hardly going out of it. I think its time you try to get out a bit more, maybe hang out with matt like you used to" I looked over at him, then got up from where i was and walked over to tom. "brother.. maybe you dont know this but, do you know what it's like to lose someone you had.. a best friend.. no... a lover.. when they promised you that they wouldn't forget about you.." Tom instantly knew what i was talking about and pulled me into a hug. "No, but i know what its like to lose a bond to someone you had as a great friend once, it sucks i know.." Tom just held me in the hug.. until- "Tom, Claire!" It was Edd "Edd- what is it?" Edd looked worried and scared "It's Tord... he's back" My eyes went wide along with tom's as he let me go from the hug "I'll handle it" i said as I started to walk away until.. *BOOM* part of the complex just got blown up. Edd grabbed me and we started to run "Wait! Where's Matt!?" I asked, starting to catch up to them "Oh no, wait.. he's in his room! Claire, your gonna have to go get him, Tom you wait here for them, I'll go on ahead and find an exit! Go!!" Edd said, I started to run back the way we came, i got into the fiery part of the complex from the explosion. "Matt!!! Matt!!!" I yelled for him, only to get no response. "MATT!!!" I yelled for him again. "Claire!!" i heard him call back, thank god! "WHERE ARE YOU!!??" "Keep moving forward, i'm surrounded by the fire and I dont want it to burn my face!" I ran forward, getting where matt wa, he was surrounded fully by fire and the flames were nowhere near safe to try and step over until i saw a fire extinguisher. I broke the glass that kept me from getting it, getting a few glass shards in my hand, i grabbed the extinguisher and instantly started spraying a path for Matt to take to get over to me "C'mon Matt!!" i told him, i grabbed his hand and we started to run, but part of the ceiling collapsed right in front of us. "oh no.." i said and we looked up to see the ceiling for the complex was ripped off from its place to reveal... Tord's robot "Hahaha! Well.. This is a sight for sore eyes, huh?" "TODD!! YOU CAME BACK!!!!" Matt said, i glared at him, giving him the look that told him that says 'he's trying to kill us you know?'. Matt saw and his expression changed to a serious face. i tapped my shoes together to fly up to tord's view. "what do you want tord??" Claire looked annoyed and mad "im here to finish what i started 5 years ago! What, did you think that I was coming back of you? HA!" Claire was hit hard by his words, tears stirred up in her eyes, and she flew back down to Matt. "Claire, Are you alright?!" She picked him up, not answering matt. Then she flew them towards the other end of the complex, gabbing tom on the way. Edd saw them coming and rushed over to them, seeing Claire in tears, Matt concerned, and Tom comforting her."Guys what happened?" "Its nothing Edd.. let's just go.." (End)
