Click the green flag and try to click the mouse on the main body parts: hands, feet, tail, tummy, heart. (some of them are a little tricky to find.) When you relax 6 times, you'll see a special reaction. This project is inspired by a mindfulness practice called "body scan" that me and my 9 year old kid do at bedtime. Lying in bed, you slowly "broadcast a message" to each part of your body to relax. When they receive the message, the body part listens and relaxes. When you've done all parts of your body (especially your heart, brain, tummy, and throat for my kid) you'll feel more peaceful and relaxed, and ready for sleep.
The figure is inspired by my favorite artist and animator, Karen Aqua. I choose this figure, in particular, because he is kind of what I think of when I think about what my own anxiety looks like: bright red and a little wild :-)
