Think of them as potions with added flavour & pizazz. Use the on-screen buttons, the arrows keys, or the keyboard keys WASD, Q and R to navigate the extensive list of power drinks that grows with every remix. This was inspired by a series of projects by @MaddieManges simply named "Power Drinks" - check out the original three projects here: ORIGINAL: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/324227297/ MORE: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/324295038/ SEASONAL: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/324355404/ === HOW TO REMIX === Want to add power drinks to this project? Follow these instructions carefully to get them in: 1. Scroll down below these instructions & read the rules! DON'T proceed until you've done this! 2. Click the green "Remix" button at the top-right corner. 3. Design your power drink on a new costume in the "Power Drinks" sprite. Try experimenting with more artistic variations on usual beverage containers. 4. Set up the drink's information using the "Add info" block in the same sprite. (Tip: If you set the first input to "c" then you can change info for the current costume/drink!) 5. Test your project &, if you like the result, either continue to add more drinks or share it! 6. Modify the title to match the current remix number & amount of drinks. BONUS: You're also allowed to add more music tracks. === RULES === (don't break them) Only @Burgnew_On_A_Laptop, @MaddieManges, @Kyle3912Again, @ZYellow, @Twin138956Scratch, @ScratchTeen9300, @Aydenfox8, @s-dbayer and @chomperthegamer (as well as their alternate accounts) can break these rules. Rules marked with a (!) can only be broken by @Burgnew_On_A_Laptop, nobody else! Rules marked with a (?) are optional; feel free to break them if you want, but following them is usually recommended. (!) 1. It is polite and REMIX ETIQUETTE to comment "Remixing..." in the comments before starting a remix, so people know not to accidentally split the remix tree's branches. If you don't intend to make a new remix branch, then don't remix if someone has commented "Remixing..."! (!) 2. DO NOT BREAK SCRATCH'S COMMUNITY GUIDELINES (SCG)!! That means nothing too scary, gory or vulgar & no inappropriate language! All Power Drinks are supposed to be alcohol-free, so don't name them after drinks that aren't. (!) 3. Don't add or remove anyone from the 'breaking-rules' list without permission! Furthermore, don't delete any of these rules or instructions & don't completely change the project title either! 4. Don't delete or destructively modify anything you didn't make, unless to fix a bug or glitch, modify anything that breaks any rules or the SCG, delete unused assets, or add new features. (?) 5. Try to keep your power drinks adequately sized; don't make them too small or large unless they're meant to be at that size! 6. Don't delete any music tracks unless they break the Community Guidelines. If you don't want to listen to a certain song or genre, utilize the "audio exemption" functionality to make sure you can't. 7. On the topic of music, please also refer to the Music comment's recommended music limit so this project doesn't reach the size-limit as quickly. (?) 8. If you find a glitch, report it to @Burgnew_On_A_Laptop! If you are confident working with somewhat-complicated code, go for it & attempt to fix it yourself, but don't forget to tell Burg about it too! 9. If you are part of the 'breaking-rules' list, you're allowed to add a new rule if needed. If you aren't in the breaking-rules list, you can still suggest a new rule. If you break any of these rules, it may result in your remix being declared UNOFFICIAL and getting skipped over. You don't want that, right? To ensure this doesn't happen, remember to double-check that you've not broken any rules just before you share the project.
Credit to @FireArrow879, @Burgnew_On_A_Laptop, and everyone else who remixed. Me and @Burgnew_On_A_Laptop have noticed that the Power Drinks Collection has not only been receiving some low-quality drinks lately (NO OFFENSE), but the instructions comment was also deleted on accident without being readded, the font of the text engine has been changed without warning, and the background was changed without permission, effectively breaking rule 4 several times. We decided that the top of the remix tree required too many actions to bring back its former quality, so I'm deciding to split the remix tree here. ===== PORTS ===== I ported some drinks from the other branch that I thought would be good to port into this one, those being: - Spheric Soda and The Gapple by @bingula - Dewblox, Fruitshake, Mega Unlucky Milkshake (renamed to "Mega Misfortunate Milkshake"), Grain Dew, and Flip Float by @FireArrow879 - Wishy Washy Plant (renamed to "Very Moldy Seaweed Atolli") by @i_am_grenade - Ragdoll Soda by @Game_Maker302 There were a few other good drinks that I didn't port though, as I didn't want to add more than 20 drinks. Many of these drinks have improved sprites compared to how they looked in the other remix branch. They also have better descriptions too. On top of that, I also added the Puyo Potion from @MySingingMaws's remix from a lower split in the remix tree since I started playing Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 a while ago and I really enjoy it. The Puyo Potion also has the aforementioned changes done to the other ported drinks. ===== CHANGES ===== Some drinks added before the previous remix also required some changes. Here's what I changed: - Impostemade has an updated sprite and description to remove any violent context. - [ Content Deletejuice ] and Giantjuice have an updated sprite so they are now adequately sized (now abiding to rule 5). - Wubbox Fizz and Mumbo's Power Drink have an updated sprite and description so they are now completely vector and their effects are more based on the character's they're based on. - Drink 154 had to be renamed and had to have it's description and sprite changed to no longer reference any scary and unsuitable media. ===== ADDITIONS ===== With these many changes, I also added some drinks of my own, being: - Tetramalta - Super Marshy Coffee (@bingula suggested this in https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/653178955/ ) - Oozy Recap - Infinity Sip - Tinyjuice - Memory Espresso - Nano Tea - Gigawachae - Terade - Sicret Smoothie (don't get confused with this one) This was said to be the biggest remix yet in the Power Drinks Collection (adding a total of 20 drinks), and I think it's ALL worth it. Oh, I also added 2 new music tracks.
