Hello, all! It's been a pretty long time since I've released a MAP. I know I've been pretty inactive, but I literally just hit 300 followers (WHAT??) and I figured it was about time to get online a bit more. So! I'm gonna host a MAP. And it's a vent MAP. Unlike First, this song is much slower and pretty much a piano ballad. I love DCfC (something that people who frequent my projects have probably figured out by now) and I think so many of their songs are just—really emotionally charged. So I want to give everyone a chance to express their feelings to some really good music with this MAP. I'll get into the rules and instructions momentarily. If you were a part of First, then you probably know a lot of this, but I have made some ch-ch-ch-changes! RULES: -I'm only going to be accepting intermediate and above artists/animators for this one, I'm sorry. -Please link three examples of art or animation! -LIMITED ANIMATION. I.E., mainly PMV, but you can animate if that's what you're good at. But either make it slow motion and super smooth or slow motion and choppy. But I don't want any fast animation! -GRAYSCALE EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE EYES OF YOUR MAIN CHARACTER! This is very important. I think this rule is so important, in fact, that this is where I'm putting the cxdewxrd. Which is… black sun! So include that in your application. Don't put the fake cxdewxrd in either. Very, very important rule this is. To elaborate, if you have multiple characters in your part, they will be entirely grayscale. So will your main character, except for their eyes, which are the only colored part of them. If you don't do this, I will ask you to redo your part! Make it easier on yourself and do it from the get-go. -Use your own experiences! I don't want you to make something up and just have it be sad. I want this MAP to be rooted in reality. -NO HAPPY (just kidding). You can have happiness in your part, but it should be bittersweet at its happiest. Almost as though you're ruminating on your past. -Use your own characters! (Unless you're utilizing fandom characters to tell your story. You can do that, but make sure you provide appropriate credit.) -Parts will be due _one month_ after you get them. I can provide extensions, given you let me know in advance. -Note: if you want to convey something that happened in the past in a special way, try using a slightly dreamy effect. I.E., white outline, lighter colors, etc. FAQs -What is a vent MAP? A vent MAP is a MAP composed of people who are "venting" all of their bad feelings and experiences. Letting it all out is a therapeutic experience, which is why I make these. -What is a MAP? It stands for multi animator project. People come together to make parts for it to create a cohesive whole. -What kind of part do you want for this? You can do anything you want, so long as it's not *too* gory and follows the grayscale. Make it Scratch-appropriate, duh, but you've got all the creative freedom here. Looking for the codeword? I mentioned it above!
