While New Arcland was mining to meet the massive demands for the Arc Cannon, a new metal was discovered. Dubbed "Arcium", the metal generates large amounts of energy randomly. Arcium is far too dangerous and unstable to be used at the moment, but research is being made in ways to contain it.
