Well! It’s been a long journey with good old Checkmate. From the first concept of her in my old account @iing3465, to creating this account based on her, to the old redesign she received on this account, to now. She’s stuck with me for almost a year now - or, to be exact, on March 16 it’ll be a year. Wow! So, in honor of that one-year anniversary, I’ve decided to give her another redesign and put together all the old references of her in this project. I think Checkmate is really important to be because she’s a big reason why I finally left @iing3465 and came here, where I improved at a rapid pace. She’s also just cool, and the only main OC I’ve kept for more than, like, a month. x3 So, on that note, I hope you guys like this new design and the history behind it. And don’t be afraid to change accounts if you have to! Sometimes it helps a LOT to have a blank slate. Alright, see ya guys!
