A small boxcab was built for the Lehigh Portland Cement co in 1938 with no number. The engine would move owners many times till 1987 after almost half a century of life the engine sat on a small piece of track in new haven abandoned after the industry it had been serving bought a Plymouth which replaced it. the group contacted the Essex & Danbury where it would be restored to operational where it was numbered 9 and now those switching work in Danbury where the local switching crew has named it the "Rattler"
