I did this from the point of view of my favorite pencil I lost under my bed a week ago, and its written like a diary entry. Word count: 365 (same amount of days in a year haha) March 2nd, 2022 Dear diary, Today, Belle still hasn’t found me. Ever since she accidentally kicked me under the bed, I haven’t been touched, not once. I guess there are some good things that came out of it, I found this awesome notebook I can write in, that’s not too bad. But Belle hasn’t drawn with me in over a week, and I miss when she would do that. She would always put me onto her bed, get out her sketchbook, and draw all of these amazing drawings. She would mainly draw people, though most of the time she hated them and just flipped the page. Sometimes, she even writes stories in her notebooks using me. She usually saves story writing for Saturday mornings, I guess it's because she doesn't want to go downstairs and do it on her iPad just yet. But, I guess those days are over. The world under the bed is my new home for now, I even have an empty box I call my “home.” Sometimes, a stray pen or paintbrush rolls under, and doesn’t know what to do. There are plenty of little places to live though, and I show them some of the good ones. Currently, my neighbors are a new paintbrush Belle got in an art subscription box, a blue colored pencil that hasn’t been found in over 3 months, and a Halloween patterned pen. Sometimes, I just walk around the vast world under the bed, and find some pretty cool things. I’ll bring them to my home for decoration so I don’t just see the brown inside of the box. I’ve found a blue and yellow pom-pom, a ripped piece of red paper, a watercolor tin, and this notebook that I am writing in. I suppose that Belle should probably clean under her bed more often, but it's not like I can just go up and tell that to her. It’s a good thing I found this notebook, because I have really been wanting to draw or write something for a long time. Oh no! I hear Belle coming up the stairs, she must be back from school early. Gotta go! See You Next Time, Pencil
Whole thing by me
