Note: There is a chance I may never finish this game on scratch, however there is a better chance I will port it to a different game engine which I can actually monetize. ❗❗❗GAME UNFINISHED AND ONLY UPLOADED FOR TESTING. THERE ARE MANY BUGS, but it is now playable. Unfortunately, the game is not very fun... It's missing something but I can't figure out what... (Update, I figured it out, a counter attack for basically everything so nothing is too overpowered) (Update 2, I was wrong, everything is too balanced and nothing is powerful enough now... So I guess I just need some really good cards as well to balance the worse ones.)❗❗❗ (Guess it won't be much of a release if everyone can see the game before... Although nobody has really noticed this project yet...) ========================================= ⚔️ Welcome to... Mendacity ⚔️ Mendacity is a game about strategy and deception. How to Play: ⭐ You have unique cards with special abilities that you can play to either help you or harm your opponent. ⭐ You can only play 1 card each turn so pick carefully. ⭐ You both play your card at the same time. ⭐ Your goal is to either be the first to earn a specific amount of coins (Usually 100) or have the most coins when the game ends. (You cannot see how many coins each player has, but can see what actions they take.) [Update, there will probably be a card in the future that lets you see your opponents coins or any other info, which is balanced since it technically wastes a turn.]
All cards currently in the game work. Current Progress: Polished up a bit of the game, added banks and over 10 new cards. Progress 2: Now the view card works. This took way longer than it should have... Progress 3: I spent about 3 hours straight working on this~Now players disconnect, card order can have double digits and be received through cloud variables, the game can detect what cards the other player has, and most importantly, I FIXED THE BUG I SPENT 5 HOURS TRYING TO FIX :DDDD. (At least, I don't THINK it can occur anymore since I can't seem to get it to. Although now there are other bugs but they shouldn't be too hard to fix, right...) Progress 4: PAIN. Just created a copy of this project to test something, and 5 hours later I finished it. However, it took way too long for the players to transfer data so all that effort was for nothing. If I kept it the game would connect better but would be too slow to be fun. (Basically it took about 3 times as long to scroll through your cards. Or longer) Progress 1: Now the main game "music" has been added. I had few options so it is a combination of a very loud washing machine in the background combined with my overheated computer. I also added a flashing background, so seizure warning I guess... Credit to njzuraw13 for helping test this...ish but other than that all credit goes to me. :/
