Silver and I are hoping to make animatic versions for episodes of a show called CHAOS Academy that's been in progress for about three or four years, and to do that we need voice actors! CHAOS has a TON of characters, so one of them is sure to be perfect for your voice! Considering the fact that Scratch is mostly full of children, children/teens will be voicing the adult characters. Please choose a character who's voice pitch matches yours; I want adults/older teens to have deeper voices and children/younger students to have higher, childlike voices. There are other things to take into consideration too: if you have a stutter, please choose a character with a stutter. If you can pull off a very excited, jittery voice try for a character like Kate or Ivy. If you have a boring, more monotone voice or can do one well, try for somebody like Madlyn or Stopwatch. That sort of thing! Also, when you record the lines, please record multiple versions! So I can see exactly what you're capable of. And when trying for an emotional character, try to express a lot of emotion while you record your lines! If a word is like /this/, it means to put emphasis on that word! I would also appreciate it if you could add some extra recordings of things like their laugh and the kind of noises they would make when fighting, getting injured, being surprised, etc. If you want to audition for a character, especially one with a major/main role, please be able to come on scratch often and record lines quickly! This show is going to have a lot of episodes, so that means you will have to record a lot of lines! Also, please be aware that I may ask you to instead voice a character that you did not audition for. If you see a character listed below but they aren't in the project yet, DO NOT AUDITION FOR THEM. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- [ DO NOT STOP READING AT THIS POINT, READ THE ENTIRE THING /PLEASE/— I CAN TELL WHEN YOU DON'T ] To answer some commonly asked questions: Yes, the auditions are still open. You may audition for any character that does not say "NO LONGER AVAILABLE". I will say in the project title once the auditions are no longer open. Yes, you can audition. Anybody can audition! No matter your age, gender, etc, anybody can audition for any of these characters. (( You don't have to ask, if you ask I most likely won't respond )) Yes, you can audition for multiple characters- you can even audition for every character in the project if you want! Now for some other things I would like to add: Please do not harass others who have auditioned or voice actors who have already been chosen, insult others' auditions, discourage others from auditoning, etc. I shouldn't have to say this. Please be understanding that I may not choose you to be the voice actor of your favorite character. No matter how much you love the character, what's most important to me is that your voice actually fits the character, has decent quality, and the acting is good. You are allowed to re-audition as many times as you want and ask for tips on how to fit the character better, but I can't guarantee you'll get the role you want. Now a few more, less serious things to add: Yes, you can draw fanart! We love CHAOS fanart! You can only have one role- not that anybody is begging for multiple roles, just thought I should clarify Please do not suggest characters/character ideas! Silver and I already have this series planned out, and we have enough characters already. You do not need to spam me with the link to your audition!!! I am able to see all the auditions by looking at the remixes— you should only be linking your audition if it is NOT a remix. (( I would really prefer you remix for your audition!!!! )) Okay, that's all!
