L/R Arrow keys to switch slides Night Freeze Explanation: Night Freezing is a technique in which EX sets up a defensive forcefield and sleeps inside of it. When he sleeps, he absorbs heat from the air around him, cooling down the surrounding area. His AUG modifications allow him to do this much faster, making it more dangerous to be nearby, due to the rapidly dropping temperature. He can essentially freeze a small area in less than 40 seconds, and slightly larger areas just take more time. His shield is able to repel physical objects and attacks, but it lets energy through, so that EX can still absorb the heat around him. This can also be a weakness however, as it means that energy attacks are unaffected by the barrier. tl;dr: when EX sleeps everything nearby will slowly freeze, and he needs to defend himself with a forcefield cause he can't fight while he's asleep.
