Enic and Goldet Backstory: Enic had a typical life for a Veil falline, actually. He just distanced himself from the Veil Empire because he sort of morally disagreed with the "trial" for young Veil fallines to become adults, more specifically what it consisted of. A few years later, he found a Flora egg sitting abandoned at the edges of the Empire. He didn't want to just leave it, so he decided to take care of the egg, and later the Flora falline that hatched from it. Enic other: the purple patterns on his tail shift as his tail moves, there's almost always faint purple streaks throughout (I was just too lazy to draw them) Goldet other: her eyes aren't actually two-toned, the color of her eyes seems to change depending on how light hits it, resulting in it seeming to have more than one color. kinda like an alexandrite stone. I actually have a reason for the Veils to have darker colors: if they're living in a darker forest/swamp, then it'd be an advantage to them to have darker, cool colors to better blend in with the environment. ....also I'm a sucker for dark cool color palettes.
