Instructions

Press the flag and watch as A.I. 1.5 finds its way around the block and to its food. It is entirely intelligent, and is able to find it's own path to the food without the use of instruction from the code. Although basic, this is a powerful program. Orange Pixel - A.I. Apple - food Blue Rectangle - block Thank you for viewing my project, and I hope you found it interesting. I encourage you to make your own version of this project and expand upon what I've created so far; I'd be interested to see what other people can come up with. - Bobby Helm

Description

(see A.I. 1.0 for more details) A.I. 1.5 builds upon version 1.0 with increased processing speed, power, and added features. With the help of the testing done on 1.0, many improvements were made. What's New: - Multiplied processing speed by about 10 - Improved vision focus ratio for more versatility - Increased movement speed - Removed 99% of glitches - Refined code and structure - Improved effectiveness of probes via better aim - Removed "double check" probe system - Refined probe and A.I. movement and processing equations - Improved personality by adding a face :) The creation of A.I. 1.5 was a huge leap from A.I. 1.0, mainly because of it's processing speed. I was able to cut off a good 5-10 seconds from each round of processing between movement, which is a huge leap considering the basic code this A.I. runs on. I was able to fine tune the bits and bobs this A.I. uses during processing and movement, which has made it much smarter in more abstract environments. This stage of the project exceeded my expectations, and thus I will continue development. The next step is to run this A.I. through some tests and then move on to A.I. 2.0. I might make an A.1. 1.75 in between though to do some more experimenting. Please show you support, thank you!
