What I am trying to say is that Christians should take back our own meaning of the rainbow. We should be able to have our own meaning, too. We had it once before (for thousands of years) and then we let go (recently). So I I'm saying we should take back our meaning.
Writing by me Thanks to Geoluna for inspiring me to expand this project! Check out @Geoluna 's super cool version! STUFF TO THINK ABOUT: If you have the right to believe in it, I have the right to not. I will love all people as Christ loves them, but that doesn't mean I have to agree with everything they do. The rainbow was originally a Christian symbol. It signifies that God will never again flood the world. In the original text, it was not called a rainbow- but simply a "bow". I don't think it was an accident that the bow points to the heavens, predicting the day when God would pour out His anger on his own son, Jesus, instead of His people. The rainbow, you see, not only signifies no more floods, but also the promise of a Savior that would take the punishment mankind deserved. So next time you see a rainbow, think about how grateful you are that God took the punishment from us. Any questions? Comment on my profile.
