When they were all up to scale, after you got the blueberry seeds and bushes, you could just constantly buy things. Also, if you just buy apple seeds and bushes, it will only improve your stats one at a time. Buying other things can boost them by hundreds, thousands, millions at a time, which can give you much more, much quicker, rather than spam clicking apple seeds and bushes.
