There are some things I'd like to clarify about this chapter: + Sarene and Annaline are in a relationship, but are keeping it a secret. It isn't because being in a lgbtq+ relationship is frowned upon, it's because of their different social status. Annaline was a servant when Sarene was training to become the next ruler (rulers are selected by Starpack, and the message is passed on through The Stars [you'll get it later-]. Rulers are announced when the previous ruler has just died or is dying. They then train in etiquette for 2 moons before coronation.) and they became friends then, at a young age. Sarene was always confused by the rift between classes, and has forever been working to fix it. + "So the sea sings" is a children's lullaby in the Spirits universe. Annaline loves it fsr. So the sea sings is an original song I wrote in the weight room at our school, during PE. Any similarities to other songs are by accident.
