Chap 1 “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?” she hissed. “THAT’S NOT SOMETHING FOR YOU TO TOUCH!” She grabbed my arm and sent me flying across the room. I hit one of the doors and it hurt. Like, really hurt. I got up, and a pain as sharp as electricity cut through my spine. “Argh!” I crumpled to the floor. She had officially hurt my spine. That would take a couple of weeks to heal. “What have you done?” I said weakly. She cackled. “THAT’S WHAT NAUGHTY GIRLS LIKE YOU GET! TRY TO GET UP NOW!” She smiled and raised an eyebrow. Then she faked surprise. “OOPS. I FORGOT. YOU CAN’T!” I smiled as I got up, fighting through the pain that shot up my backside and grabbed her by the arm. “You may have hurt my back, but you haven’t hurt my determination!” This time I sent her flying through the door. There was glass crunching underneath my feet as I stepped towards her, but I didn’t care. What I cared about was getting my sister back. “Like I said before,” this time with more confidence and determination in my tone. “GIVE ME BACK MY SISTER!” The creature opened its mouth and out came a black cloud. I swatted at it with my hand. It disappeared into the air and my sister fell to the floor, unconscious.
