*READ ALL OF THIS IT'S IMPORTANT* *INSTRUCTIONS AND RULES BELOW* This is an add yourself minigame by KirbyMaster4444 that requires some sprite design and minimal coding. Read up on the rules and instructions! INTRODUCTION Welcome to Death's Door! In this luck-based AY minigame, you'll "compete" with others to last the longest, and avoid any wacky death scenarios! The game is simple: every round, a random person is chosen to have their fate decided. If they're "Safe!", they go back to waiting. If they're "Not Safe!" however, then their fate will be sealed through a randomly selected event... and they'll be eliminated from the game, of course. The odds of dying increase every time someone makes it out alive, and the game keeps going until only one person remains. That person is the winner! What's the prize? Not dying, of course! So, now that you know what this game is... are you ready to join? INSTRUCTIONS 1. Hit that epic Remix button (I know you want to) 2. Copy anyone else's sprite to use as a template for your own character! You can also add more than one character if you'd like. 3. Replace all costumes in the copied sprite to yourself, an OC that represents you, or just any OC you have. It's recommended you put them in a spooky costume too! 4. Remember to change your character's name in the "Hello! I'm ___!" block, as well as all of the voice lines. 5. Test the project a bit to make sure everything's cool and good. 6. Feel free to add new music, following the way other music tracks are done, and death animations, as long as they don't require new costumes or voices for every character! 7. Re-read the rules below to make sure you haven't broken them. 8. Change the remix number in the title to be one higher, and the number of players to represent how many people there are, put your character(s) in the thumbnail if you want, then share your remix for the world to see! RULES 1. If you break any rules, your remix will be declared "Unofficial" and be abandoned which, I mean, come on, no one wants that. 2. It's AY etiquette to leave a comment saying you're remixing when you make a remix. If you see a comment that says "Remixing...", maybe try to find a more recent version as not to split the Remix Tree too much. 3. DO NOT edit or remove any costumes, sounds, or code in other people's sprites, or any music you didn't add! It's just common sense! 4. Don't edit the code to give yourself a better chance of winning. Everyone's odds should be equal! 5. Don't break Scratch's community guidelines, though that should be obvious. 6. Don't make your character too big. 7. You can add your character(s) to the thumbnail, but don't change it completely. 8. Remember to credit -Rex- for the Pen Text Engine++ used in this project!
