this is a decision that i've been thinking over for a while now. i've gotten to a point on scratch where i'm not going to grow any further as a person or as an artist. i've been clinging to the comforting familiarity and nostalgia for a while now. thank you all for the wonderful time here. there are a few things i would like to discuss, however. 1. the fate of this account i will NOT be deleting this account or taking down any of its projects. as much as i may dislike some of my older works, this is an archive of my progression. the main thing that will change is comments on everything will be turned off to avoid notification spam. i'll also put a notice in my bio that i've left and i'll link my other socials, where i will actively be posting art. 2. entries and such for those who have recieved a thumbnail entry from me, you are free to use them with credit. if i've entered in any contest, multi animator project, dta, ota, or other such collaborative events, i've most likely forgotten about them and therefore withdraw from them. if i've already completed a map part, however, the host of the map is free to use it with credit, just as they are thumb nail entries. 3. use of my art please don't trace, recolor, steal, or use my art as your own. using certain pieces are fine as long as credit is given to me for the creation of the piece. 4. stories and characters despite leaving this account, all of my characters and stories are coming with me. please don't claim them as your own or take heavy inspiration from them. if you've received a character design from me, you're free to use those, as they belong to you. 5. activity on this account i'll be checking in from time to time on here, but i won't be creating anything new. after a few months, all traces of life on this account will completely vanish as i ease myself out of the habit of checking here every single day. 6. chance of return i'm not going to sugar coat it. there is no likelihood of me returning to this place once i've left. nothing you can say will make me change my mind, as i am at peace with my decision. i thank all of you for the truly wonderful time i've had here. it has been such an honor to share my creations with you. i deeply appreciate all the feedback i've received. with that being said, farewell :]
