My essay: Cat: The Ideal Pet BozzyOzzy Cats are loyal, strong, and sweet. They are probably the most ideal pet! I have four cats of my own, and they are all very sweet. Ozzy, the one who stole my username, is a sweet, adorable, male, 7 year old cat. Salt is our only female cat. When I was younger, I begged my parents to get a “girl” cat. When we got Ozzy I was overjoyed but-- then I yelled at my dad. Salt is a fierce, protective, motherly, Siberian cat. If you have a cat that scratches people all the time, and you think cats are bad, think again! Many either have had a hard past or, they are just a little hostile towards humans and are still getting warmed up to you! Once you get used to your companion, you may find that you have a bit in common with them! And of course, allergies. Many people have allergies to cats, and have fits of coughing, sneezing, and puffy eyes when they mush their face into a cat. If your allergies are not extreme, taking an allergy pill every once in a while before seeing your little angel can do no harm, as long as you ask your parents first. Some cats are hospitalized just because their families (and I mean their human families) abandoned them! Just get a cat, they're the ideal pet! They may be hostile at first, but they are loyal. If you warm up to them, they’ll stand by you through the zombie apocalypse! Many people are scared of cats because they tend to sneak up on people. But are dogs really any better? Once, one of my friends, @kittiesarefluffy, was almost bitten by one! Dogs aren't bad (a cute tiny Pomeranian), but they are not better than cats! Golden Retrievers, Siberians, Huskies, Maine Coon, German Shepherds, Persians. Sure they have their differences, but they are all lovable. I think that cats are more of an ideal pet because they take up less space, time, and resources. With big dogs, they take up space. With a Pomeranian, I can only imagine how long it would take to clean them, soap, water, doggie bags! You have to walk dogs all the time. But with cats, they only require litter boxes and litter, shelter, food, safety, and lots of love. Cats really are the ideal pets.
