Common = -1 Rare = 0 Epic = 1 so common (-1) plus Epic (+1) = Rare (0) Not sure if that was too complicated. Clarifying (Basically Math Class lol): There is no such thing as subtraction, the concept is just addition with 1 number being Negative while the other number is positive. And while the rule is different, there is no such thing as Division too, only Multiplication and Addition truly exist! The reason behind you not being told this and instead being told that subtraction and division are real is because its the more simple form and is therefore easier to be taught to you until you grow up get to the Grade where you're told this so you can do more complex math, but the math thing i did up there needs this more complex form.
