The door creaked open to a humble house. An older man, frail, seeming in his late sixties, answered. "Yes?" He asked? I swallowed the lump of fear rising in my throat. "Are you Horizon Breezeton?" The man looked me over. "Yes." He croaked, suspicion hinting in his eyes. I fidgeted with my hair. "I- I have a letter for you."Horizon scowled at me, reaching out his hand and grabbing the letter from my hands. I saw his shadowy blue eyes widening, his hands beginning to shake. "I- I thought she'd never think of me fondly.." He whispered softly. I looked at him with concern. He lifted his head, meeting my gaze. "Thank you." He said shakily. I nodded. "You're- welcome.".
