Ignore the original project down there- my main account is being weird so I had to remix it :3 Basically, the deal with the surgery is that a few years ago, I broke my cheek and eye socket. It was a really bad break, so they did surgery to put the bones back together and insert a metal plate and screws. After getting braces, though, we found out that the screws were drilled through one of my molars. This surgery will be to take the screws out and remove the tooth. Edit 2: Going into a surgery consult in a few days, I'll know more once that's done. Edit 3: Apparently there are a few options for what they could do- some include saving the tooth, and the others would mean taking it out, then maybe having a 'dental implant' thingy put in. There's also a chance that with braces, my teeth could be moved around enough that I wouldn't need an implant. They could either just take out a few screws, or take out the whole plate. I don't know yet. (I've had 4 other surgeries in addition to the original facial one and the one I'm about to have, all having to do with my ears and throat.)
