It means the world to me and everyone's entries were incredible. <3 now onto the explanation of what's been going on. last summer, I experienced some intense trauma that i'm still dealing with right now. I've been struggling with this for months, and i've been going through therapy for it. it's been really, really hard, and it's taking a really long time to recover. trauma is never an easy thing to go through and i never wish this upon my worst enemy. it's been interfering with art, school, friendships, you name it. i'm a senior in high school, as you guys probably know, and i can't afford to not graduate. this is not the fault of anyone here, though, and i can absolutely promise that. additionally, i've started a small ears business! i make animal ears for commission and it's been an incredibly fun journey. i may end up posting some of the ears i've made here, depending on how grumpy the algorithm gets. I really, really enjoy doing what i do, and it's kept my brain distracted. life can be really, really hard sometimes. i hope you all know that things do get better. it may take a while, but time has its way of working stuff out for you. persevering is hard. it takes a lot of courage, and it leaves scars, but it's always worth it to keep going. on a lighter note, I got into college! i'm very excited and i can't wait for the next chapter of my life. I'm hoping to take a gap year and then after that, begin school again. i hope that as i keep maturing, i'll begin to sort stuff out and become the person i want to! thank you all for sticking with me through these tough times. every bit of support i get from you all means so, so much to me. i've been on scratch for almost 6 years now, and i've seen a lot of stuff-- but my followers have always been sweet and patient with me.
